The Wahl Heat Spy HSICBB-P is a portable black body that sits at ambient temperature, for single point calibration verification of thermal imaging cameras and spot infrared thermometers. It has no heating element: a 3 in concentric ring radiator with an integral 4-wire RTD is read by the built-in meter. Set the instrument under test to the correct emissivity, aim at the target and compare readings to confirm it is in tolerance and calculate any zero correction.
