Pit Gauge Calibration Block (N88-FBH)

The Calibration Block (N88-FBH) has 4 Flat Bottom Holes with nominal depths ranging from 2.5 mm to 5 mm to 7.5 mm to 10 mm (0.100", 0.200", 0.300", & 0.400"). In order to simulate the uneven surface of corrosion or erosion and to ensure that the technician scans through the varying depth in order to check that the gauge is operating properly and to confirm the certified shallow and deepest portions of each Artificial Indication, the Flat Bottom Holes are purposefully not completely flat. A calibration certificate and a trace to NIST and other regulatory bodies are included with the N88-FBH Calibration Blocks.
