The Rubert 315 is a Microsurf comparator for surface-ground flat faces. It carries 8 patches covering Ra 0.025–3.2 µm and Rz 0.25–16 µm, roughness grades N1–N8. Microsurf plates are the lightweight 300 series for office and design use, and each comes in a plastic wallet with an instruction card, making the 315 convenient for drawing offices specifying finishes. For workshop use, the heavy-duty Series 100 equivalent is the 115.
