For a sleek, contemporary appearance, the Air Regulator Series AR-A has been upgraded to the new urban white base color. A more efficient unit with a maximum set pressure of 100 psi has been created by reducing the pressure drop over the regulator. Unintentional setting changes are avoided by the locking adjustment knob. Pressure gauges and mounting brackets, and set nuts for panel attachment are available options. The AR-A series' modular architecture allows it to be connected to other SMC air preparation devices of comparable dimensions. Five body sizes and pipes in Rc, NPT, and G thread types, ranging from M5 to 3/4", are offered for the new AR-A.
