The Blue-Point RTEMPB3A is an infrared laser thermometer measuring -20 to 500 °C (-58 to 932 °F) with 12:1 distance-to-spot and a 0.5 second response. It uses a 9 V battery, has a fixed 0.98 emissivity and comes with a storage case; accuracy is ±2% of reading or ±2 °C. Snap-on lists tasks such as radiator core restrictions, exhaust and emission checks, and bearing or brake temperatures.
