A high-quality temperature compensated internal frequency reference (TCXO) that is used in the TF930 and TF960 has a low rate of ageing and is stable to within 1ppm over the whole temperature range. Even when operating on a portable battery, its quick warm-up time enables precise measurements. When an external reference standard is attached, the External Reference input automatically switches from the internal time basis. Full remote control and readback are provided by the USB interface.
