A high-quality temperature compensated internal frequency reference (TCXO) that is used in the TF930 and TF960 has a low rate of ageing and is stable to within 1ppm over the whole temperature range. Its quick warm-up time makes it possible to take precise measurements even while using a battery-powered portable device. When an external reference standard is attached, the External Reference input automatically switches from the internal time basis.
