For applications requiring pressure management, the AVENTICS Series 617 Sentronic LP (Low Power) is a family of highly effective and reasonably priced proportional valves with digital control. Its modular form is simple to operate and it has a tiny footprint. With the use of supplementary Data Acquisition Software (DaS) and a PC connection, valve control loop parameters can be tailored for a particular application. The valve has a fast response time, little power consumption (<4 W), and integrated IO-Link communication capabilities.
