Brannan 44/550/7 is a breaksafe PVC coated laboratory thermometer reading -10 to +50 °C in 1.0 °C divisions, 155 mm long for total immersion, with an accuracy of ±1.0 °C at 35 °C. Part of the LAB025 range, it is coated in PVC to contain glass and filling if it breaks, a lower cost alternative to FEP coated thermometers. The glass tube holds Brannan's mercury-free LO-tox filling.
