In order to calibrate class 2 sound level meters and noise dosimeters with 1/2′′ microphones, the SV34B Sound Calibrator produces a reference signal of 114 dB at 1 kHz. The calibrator has a sturdy casing that provides users with comfort and a firm grip.
For monitoring generated level, a built-in reference piezoresistive sensor, pressure and temperature sensors, and a microprocessor system for managing the calibrator's operation. Digitally generated sine waves with a 1 kHz frequency are fed to the speakers.
