The Crowcon Fgard IR3 is an explosion-proof multi-spectrum infrared flame detector for hydrocarbon liquid and gas fires. It responds in under 5 seconds to a 0.1 m² fire at 60 m, using current IR algorithms to keep false alarms low. Heated optics stop condensation, ice and water forming on the window, and automatic optical verification removes the need for reflector checks.
