The DeFelsko PosiTest GM is the imperial thin-film model of the PosiTest range, reading 0–8 mils of non-magnetic coating on steel. Its tolerance of ±0.04 mils up to 0.8 mils makes it suitable for electroplated layers, thin paint films and phosphating. As a magnetic pull-off instrument it has no batteries and holds its calibration through a permanent magnet.
