Dwyer Instruments 166T | Telescoping pitot tube
A special kind of air flow sensor, the Model 166T Telescoping Pitot Tube may be rapidly and simply adjusted for any length of duct insertion, ranging from 11.5 to 36 inches (29.2 to 91.4 cm). Now, up to five traditional fixed length Pitot tubes can be replaced by a single, small unit. It is safe and sound, kept in place by a specially made carrying case made of plastic. When telescoping portions are extended, they lock into position, making it possible to measure the correct alignment of the tip within the airstream using the handle grip. Construction made of stainless steel prevents corrosion. Hemispherical tip is 1/8" (3.2 mm) in diameter and has a flow coefficient of 1.0. The largest part is 3/8" (9.5 mm).
