An air velocity transmitter from the Series AVU, Model AVU-2-A, is perfect for many HVAC measurement and control applications, especially in full building control and energy management systems. In order to measure the air velocity, the Series AVU Transmitter measures the heat loss from one of the two sensing components in the air stream. Because of the sensing element's construction, units are essentially immune to drift, ensuring accuracy of the transmitter across the whole air velocity range.
