The non-spring return Model DDC42 Direct Coupled Actuators are ideal for positioning dampers and valves in HVAC systems. DDA actuators are available with a range of power supply and are made to take floating control signals. DDC actuators are 24 VAC powered devices that can accept modulating control signals ranging from 0 to 10 VDC or 4 to 20 mA. A 0 to 10 VDC feedback signal of the damper location is a feature of DDC systems. Actuators provide torque between 17 and 70 in-lb (2 and 8 Nm). To request an optional internal auxiliary switch on DDA, contact the factory.
