The Model SAV-BTD3-NC Angle Seat Valve preserves flow rates while taking up less space. An externally controlled, single-acting actuator powered by a mechanical spring ensures fail-safe operation of the pneumatic angle seat valve. Choose between configurations that are normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO). Normally closed, bi-directional valves have an anti-water hammer design for liquid applications flowing beneath the seat and are made for unique applications requiring flow in both directions. In liquid applications, normally open valves can also be employed to stop water hammer during valve closure.
