The Series WE20 Butterfly Valves come with a PTFE or EPDM liner and can have lug or wafer body designs. The cartridge seat design of the Series WE20 Butterfly Valves, which eliminates installation issues related to typical "dove tail design" seats, is the most important feature. Because the seat dynamics are independent of being connected between two flanges, valve torques are smaller and more consistent. Every time the valve is cycled, a flawless low torque seal is produced by the cartridge design's ability to maintain a tighter disc to seat tolerance thanks to precision machining of the disc and body. The seat to disc seal can provide fully rated dead end service and is not dependent on flange support.
