Emerson PACSystems RXi HMI
With protocol support, OPC-UA for improved data contextualization, and MQTT for simple cloud connectivity, the Emerson PACSystems RXi HMI is IIOT ready. The projective capacitive touch (PCT/PCAP) screen technology was used in the construction of the multi-touch screen to provide higher brightness, clarity, and ten-point touch sensitivity. Glare is significantly reduced for outdoor options by optically bonded and UV protected glass screens.
The RXi HMI deploys HTML5 pages that correspond to the created display screens. Web browser-based clients can be local to the device through the HMI control panel or remote via a PC or mobile device. Graphics are automatically transformed into scalable vector graphics for dynamic display in local client instances using the HTML5 browser, as defined in the project.
