The FEMA SWW series monitors flow in liquids and piped gaseous media with an SWF62 or SWF62L flow sensor connected to an ASW454 evaluation unit. Sensitivity is set accurately with rough and fine potentiometers, and an LED shows the switching state. The sensor element must sit in the flow to give a reliable signal. FEMA describes its electronic liquid flow switches as detecting the speed of the liquid and switching an electric circuit when it deviates from the preset value.
