According to the API 5B Specification 16th Edition, thread addendum is now a compulsory inspection. Thread addendum (a.k.a. shave) gauges are also available from Gagemaker. When ordering, please indicate the thread type. Addendum gauges must be calibrated to a specific standard. Standard is available for purchase individually. Every TA-3002 comes with a contact point (T072). A different contact point (T057) is required for 10 Round threads and is available separately.
