The Kane RD99 detects even the smallest refrigerant gas leaks and is capable of detecting all existing refrigerants such as HFCs, HCFCs, CFCs, SG6, R134A, and R123. Finding leaks is simple with a built-in alarm system. As more leaks are detected, the ticking rate increases, and visual indicators light up as the tester's probe sensor is moved closer to the source of the leak. This ensures that leaks can be detected in both normal and noisy environments where the ticking sound is difficult to hear. The RD99 comes standard with a flexible gooseneck probe, which allows the user to easily bend the sensor into a difficult application for testing.
