The MicroCal 1 thermocouple simulator aids in making frequent checking of thermometer accuracies a routine procedure. The calibrator is intended to test thermocouple type K, J, T, R, N, S, and E thermometers without the use of specialised equipment or conversion tables. Temperature is also measured and simulated by the MicroCal 1 Plus calibrator. When changing parameters, the MicroCal 1 has a custom 10mm LCD display with an alpha-numeric display line to prompt the user. °C/°F, auto power off - enable/disable, CJC - internal/external, and display contrast adjustment are all selectable parameters.
