The 526-172-21 uses a two-point split contact point for small bores, graduated to 0.001 mm over 0.95-1.55 mm, supplied with a setting ring.
On the 526-172-21 the DLC coating applies to holes of 0.95-7.3 mm and hard chrome to 7-18 mm, and the optional digital indicator 543-310B-10 can replace the analog one.
