The Mitutoyo 422-231-30 Digimatic Blade Micrometer measures challenging components including shaft and keyway groove widths using a blade anvil and spindle. In addition to preventing workpiece deformation and wear, the non-rotating spindle lessens torsion on softer items being measured. For accurate, repeatable measurements, a ratchet-stop mechanism applies consistent pressure to a workpiece. An easy-to-read LCD panel shows the readings.
