Mitutoyo 148-854 is a 0–13 mm analog micrometer head with 0.01 mm graduation and a spherical, SR4 radius spindle end. 148-854 has a 9.5 mm clamp-nut stem (6 mm fixture thickness at the nut). The thimble is zero-adjustable: loosening its setscrew allows zero to be set at any position within 0–13 mm, with a clamp-nut stem and a spindle lock. On the 0–13 mm spherical-tip version, 0.5 mm pitch is paired with a hardened steel (>60 HRC) face.
