An outdoor monitoring system based on the SVAN 979 Class 1 sound level meter is called the SV 279PRO Noise Monitoring Station. The lead-acid battery inside the IP 65-rated casing can simply have its running time increased by attaching an external battery or solar panel. Without costly controllers and bulky batteries, a solar panel can be used thanks to the intelligent charging device. The case comes with an IP 65 external power supply and exceptionally durable, waterproof connectors (military standard).
The lightweight outdoor microphone set has simple mounting threads that allow for quick attachment to a mast. Easily contained in a second carrying case are all the accessories.
