The Palmer Wahl 240 (part 240_Labels) is the standard-size, four-position Temp-Plate and the most popular configuration in the range. At 19 x 44 mm it is easy to read at a glance, and ranges are available from 90-120 °F (32-48 °C) up to 435-490 °F (223-254 °C). Each printed position turns permanently black when its rating is reached, giving a lasting record of overheating.
