The Palmer Wahl 32_38_Recorder logs pressure and temperature on one circular chart, housed in a heavy die-cast aluminium case for 8 in or 12 in charts. Up to three systems can be fitted in total: one or two 316 stainless steel pressure elements and one or two filled temperature systems with 300 Series stainless steel bulbs. Temperature systems are available mercury filled or mercury free (non-toxic or hydrocarbon fill), and every system is field replaceable.

- Temperature ranges up to 0-400 °C (mercury), 0-300 °C (hydrocarbon) or 0-250 °C (non-toxic)
- Capillary up to 25 ft mercury, 15 ft non-toxic or 30 ft hydrocarbon
- Wall, flush (8 in only), pipestand or portable mounting
- PC-11 and PC-12 C-cell battery drives
