Made from 1095 spring steel, Pi Tape P01 is an inch-graduated outside diameter tape for the 0.75–7 in band, held to a tolerance of ±0.001 in. Wrapped around a part in the 0.75–7 in range, the P01 reads the outside diameter directly, so checks stay consistent from one reading to the next. Because the P01 starts below 2 in, its material thickness is 0.006 in (0.15 mm) or 0.007 in (0.18 mm) depending on material type.
