The Therma Waterproof type K thermometer is housed in a tough waterproof black ABS case that is IP66/67 rated. The thermometer uses cutting-edge electronic circuitry that is designed for dependability and ease of use, and it can be submerged or washed under a running tap, making it ideal for industrial applications. The Therma Waterproof thermometer measures temperature with a 0.1 °C resolution from -99.9 to 299.9 °C and auto-ranges to 1 °C resolution from 300 to 1372 °C. Therma Waterproof has a large, easy-to-read LCD display with max/min, hold, open circuit, and low battery indicators, as well as an optional backlight. The unit also has an auto-power off feature that turns the instrument off after ten minutes to save battery life.
