A 1.2kW single output dc power supply called the QPX1200S gives consumers a level of versatility that is not possible with customary laboratory power sources. It is equipped with front and rear terminals as well as an analogue remote control interface and is suitable for bench-top and system applications. Wide-ranging digital interfaces such as USB, RS232, GPIB, and LXI compatible LAN are added by the QPX1200SP (Ethernet). * Keep in mind that the now-discontinued QPX1200L is the same as the QPX1200SP except that it lacks the GPIB interface.

Product Details

QPX series laboratory power supplies are designed to provide flexibility in the choice of voltage and current so as to meet multiple diverse applications. Voltages up to 80V and currents up to 50A are available within a defined power envelope. Unlike most power supplies of this power level, the QPX series is well suited to bench top applications in addition to system use.

Features and benefits

A balanced multi-phase converter system minimises ripple and improves dynamic performance. This provides unusually low noise for the power level coupled with good transient response.
In addition to the 1mV 10mA resolution metering the display gives a reading for total power. Operation limits can be set as V, I or W.
Equivalent resistance measurement of the load enables low resistance measurements to be made at high currents, using the remote sense terminals to create a four terminal connection.
A comprehensive array of interfaces including USB, LAN /LXi and Quasi-analogue are standard. GPIB is available as a factory or customer fit option. QPX750SP is compatible with Aim-TTi Test Bridge software, providing graphical remote instrument control, logging and sequencing.

Voltages up to 80V and currents up to 50A are available within a defined power envelope. QPX750SP provides an added safety feature where voltages above 50V require authorisation from the user to comply with SELV.
