The OP and PE Series orifice plates, which have a special holder or carrier ring with metering taps and integrated gaskets, are similar in design to the one-piece PTFE construction of the Model TE-D-3 Orifice Plate Flowmeter. The Series TE orifice plate is suitable for usage with gases, liquids, corrosive, and high temperature fluids and is available in line diameters ranging from 1/2" to 24". Simply slide the Series TE between conventional flanges to install it; orifice flanges are not necessary. Anywhere a standard flow orifice plate is needed, the Series TE was meant to be used. For efficiency and cost-effectiveness, it can also be utilized in place of other main differential producers.
