S8VK-X09024A-EIP Switch Mode DIN Rail Mounted Space Saving Power Supply.

Omron S8VK-X Switch mode power supply is a small power supply with communication abilities and an indication monitor. The space saving design allows you to mount power supplies side by side replacing standard power supplies. The S8VK-X09024A-EIP is EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP-compatible plus using a monitoring tool connected to a personal computer, via an Ethernet cable, you can monitor the power supply. The excellent environmental resistance adds to the stable operation of the power supply which is vibration and shock resistant plus includes coated PCB's (printed circuit board) resisting humidity and gases.

A DIN Rail is a standard type of rail that is used to mount the power supply into racks. DIN Rails are a support for equipment. DIN Rails are normally made from aluminium but if there is a chance that the power supply suffers any shock or vibration, use a steel DIN Rail.

What is A Switch Mode Power Supply?

Switch mode power supplies are a general purpose power supply include a switching regulator converting AC mains power to a lower voltage DC. A Switch mode power supply is efficient limiting any wasted energy.

Overload Protection.

When the load current reaches 101% to 110% for the S8VK-X09024A-EIP the output voltage automatically lowers to protect the power supply from short circuit currents and over currents. When the output current falls within range overload protection automatically clears.

Do not use an inverter output for the power supply.
