PLASTIFORM F85 | Silicone-based Impression Material
The F85 is incredibly fluid and simple to introduce into the cavities or sections that need to be examined. It is not flexible because it creates a final impression that is unyielding (85 Shore A hardness). During the demoulding process, it is incapable of deforming and does not tolerate any tension or elongation.
As a result, this plastiform is only suitable for controlling basic shapes without the need for extraction stress. No extraction stress is tolerated by the product: 0%.
The F85 was created especially to make controlling basic forms easier. They may be manipulated by contact because of their stiffness. While this method works on F85, it is not advised for other plastiforms. The F85 is most likely your best option if you wish to verify basic shapes without a visual inspection tool.
Last but not least, this plastiform is an excellent mechanical reinforcement material. It is flexible enough to absorb some of the vibrations and reinforces the part because of its versatile rigidity.
