Both air and bumper cushioning are features of the SMC CP96-C series double-acting pneumatic cylinders. By utilizing both air and bumper cushioning, the cushion stroke's duration is decreased, which lowers cycle time and the noise produced at the end of the stroke. Four sides of the CP96-C cylinder bodies are grooved to make it simple to install CNOMO or SMC M9 and A9 position sensors. The profile actuator body has sensors that are easily slid into place from either end.
