Three room sensors are combined into a single, small housing in the Communicating Carbon Dioxide Detectors Series CDTA, Model CDTA-5N000-LCD. Temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, and temperature set point with override are examples of parameters. Daisy chaining together with a 4-wire connection lowers installation costs. The on board DIP switches are used to configure the RS-485 MAC address. To restrict access to the setup menu and choose between BACnet MS/TP and Modbus® RTU, additional DIP switches are utilized. It is possible to configure the barometric pressure to adjust for altitude. There is no need for extra calibration because the humidity sensor can be changed in the field. In place of CO2, integral and remote displays that are optionally accessible can show temperature, humidity, or temperature set point.
