A communicating carbon dioxide sensor, the Series CDTC, Model CDTC-5N000-LCD integrates the capabilities of two room sensors into a single, small chassis. Temperature, carbon dioxide, and temperature set point with override are examples of parameters. Daisy chaining together with a 4-wire connection lowers installation costs. The on-board DIP switches are used to configure the RS-485 MAC address. To restrict access to the setup menu and choose between BACnet MS/TP and Modbus® RTU, additional DIP switches are utilized. It is possible to configure the barometric pressure to adjust for altitude. In place of CO2, an optional inbuilt display can show the temperature or a temperature set point.
