Because of its early clay-like malleability, M70 can be manually applied to overhanging or vertical surfaces. The final imprint has a modest deformation capacity and is semi-soft (hardness 70 Shore A). It must be applied to shapes with modest complexity because it can only handle an extraction constraint of 5%. For medium- to large-sized items, the M70 is advised for making basic external shape impressions (threads, grooves, etc.). Custom precision poses for intricate or delicate parts can also be made with it. The KV-AD, an outdated PLASTIFORM malleable, was to be replaced by the M70. A profile of the replica can be obtained by cutting this imprint with the Double Blade Cutter. The final measurement's quality is significantly enhanced by the profiles.
