With extension anvil collars and a 50mm spindle stroke, this outside micrometre offers a large measuring range without sacrificing precision. Inch and metric measures are both available. By adjusting the amount of spindle force, the large-span ratchet stop outside micrometre is perfect for measuring metal and non-metal workpieces. For precise, repeatable measurements, a ratchet-stop mechanism helps deliver uniform pressure on a workpiece. The ratchet mechanism produces an audible click to verify that the measurement is carried out at the pre-set force.
