The Peak Particle Velocity and Dominant Frequency-based methodologies for building vibration measurements are the focus of the vibration and noise monitoring station SV258 PRO. The application enables simultaneous measurement of velocity and acceleration of vibrations with two independent phases of recording, allowing for the measurement of human vibration exposure in structures. Additionally, noise monitoring measurement data can be added to the measurement to improve it. Users can configure a criterion curve based on FFT or a 1/3 Octave analysis by local standards, or they can utilize predetermined settings compatible with widely used standards like DIN 4150-3 or BS 7385-2. For vibration measurements of sensitive equipment with VC curves, the 1/3 octave approach is also employed.
