The D490 is a general-purpose, panel-mount, loop-powered indicator that is flexible and can show loop current, range, and actual process value. In addition to its emphasis on temperature, pressure, and level applications, the D490 is also compatible with a variety of additional measuring units, including %, mA, RPM, and more. It is easy to choose the measuring unit to be shown using an alpha-numerical configuration menu. Software functions are used to configure the number of decimals, offset, and span instead of sensitive dip switches or trimmers. As a result, the D490 is a flexible indicator that works well in a variety of settings. There are several choices, such as Intrinsic Safety for applications in hazardous areas.
