A hand-held measuring tool called a thickness gauge is used to determine the thickness of a specific substance or sample. They are widely employed in engineering and product production processes that call for a particular item thickness. Tube thickness gauge measures the wall thickness of curved parts in a variety of applications with materials up to 12mm/.47" thick.
