With a faster spindle feed, the non-rotating spindle decreases tension on softer parts being measured and prevents workpiece deformation and wear. For exact, repeatable measurements, a ratchet-stop mechanism applies homogeneous pressure to a workpiece. The results of the measurements are displayed on an easy-to-read LCD display.
